Alpine Lakes Wilderness: Rampart was inspired by an overnight trip with my sister to Rachel Lake, Lila Lakes and Rampart Lakes. The mosquitoes were having a heyday on this July day so we kept moving and did our best to transcend with the breathtaking views and watched a bright pink sunset from our tent overlooking Rampart Lakes. Worth all the bites.
