This was the dreamiest. Summer of 2022 and I’d heard whisperings that the bear grass was in super bloom. I took a spontaneous sunset drive up to Mount Spokane’s vista house and could not have been more rewarded. Breathtaking blooms covering the slopes like I’d never seen before. I wandered, sketched and just took a moment to be with these fluffy bear grass wonders.
